About the role

As a People Operations Associate, you will help the People team run smoothly and scale the function as the organization grows. Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the full onboarding process for new hires, including access setup, equipment, paperwork, and first-week planning.
  • Make sure new employees feel informed, supported, and prepared from their first day.
  • Handle offboarding tasks carefully and accurately while maintaining a respectful and organized process.
  • Work with other teams to ensure employee transitions are secure and compliant.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal and state employment rules.
  • Assist with records management, I-9 verification, and audit preparation.
  • Keep employee information accurate across HR and People systems.
  • Help refine workflows and document operational processes across the People function.
  • Coordinate interviews with recruiters and hiring managers and support communication with candidates.
  • Contribute to a polished and organized candidate experience.
  • Support engagement initiatives, internal communications, team events, and offsite planning.
  • Provide general day-to-day support to the People Operations team.
  • Coordinate employee hardware, software access, and vendor-related People operations.
  • Track invoices, renewals, and related operational details.
  • Maintain organization and consistency across People programs and processes.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in People Operations, recruiting coordination, HR administration, operations, or a similar support role.
  • Background in a fast-paced or high-growth work setting.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
  • Comfort handling several priorities and workflows at the same time.
  • Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with care and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with HR or recruiting tools such as Ashby, Gusto, Deel, Notion, Rippling, or similar platforms.
  • Proactive, dependable, and interested in creating structure and better processes.
