Role overview
DLA Piper is seeking motivated Paralegals to join its Legal Delivery Centre and support the firm’s evolving approach to delivering legal services. This team combines legal knowledge, efficient workflows, and modern technology to provide high-quality support across a range of matters.
In this role, you will handle document-intensive legal tasks within contentious, corporate transactional, or real estate workstreams. The position offers exposure to a collaborative, fast-moving environment, with scope to broaden your capabilities through cross-training and interaction with stakeholders across the firm.
Main duties
- Review documents for disclosure and related legal processes.
- Assist with drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Support corporate transactions and deal execution activities.
- Contribute to real estate matters and associated support work.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have completed, or be close to completing, a law degree or a non-law degree together with a law conversion qualification. Candidates should be available for full-time or near full-time work. Alternatively, applicants with at least 2 years of paralegal experience will also be considered.
You should have a strong academic background that reflects a quick learning ability and a commitment to high standards. The role suits someone who works well in a team, adapts easily to changing priorities, and performs confidently in a demanding professional setting.
