Role overview
Konvo Media is hiring an Outreach Manager for its Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in-office team. The core objective of this position is simple: identify the right guests for the podcast and turn those leads into confirmed conversations.
You will be responsible for discovering strong guest prospects, determining the best contact route, crafting messages that earn replies, and following up until the opportunity advances. This is a role that rewards persistence, research ability, and thoughtful communication.
What you will handle
- Source suitable guest prospects for Konvo with Kathan.
- Create and continuously refresh guest lists so they remain accurate and useful.
- Research founders, CEOs, creators, investors, subject-matter experts, authors, and public personalities.
- Locate contact options such as email addresses, Instagram profiles, LinkedIn accounts, PR representatives, assistants, and mutual connections.
- Draft cold emails, direct messages, and follow-ups that feel tailored, concise, and compelling.
- Monitor responses, conversion rates, and outreach performance to understand what drives results.
- Manage the full outreach process from the first contact to final guest confirmation.
What the team is looking for
The ideal candidate communicates with clarity and can write messages that stand out. They should be comfortable with persistence, able to handle silence without losing momentum, and capable of interacting professionally with founders, CXOs, creators, and senior stakeholders.
Strong organization is important, as the role involves tracking many prospects and conversations in spreadsheets and other tools. A solid understanding of business, creators, startups, media, and podcast culture will help you succeed.
Experience of 1 to 3 years in outreach, PR, partnerships, sales, business development, or creator/media relations is preferred. However, the practical instinct for outreach matters more than the job title.
