Stellenbeschreibung
Job Purpose
This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials in a timely manner while following company-defined standards and controls.
Material Receipts
- Accept incoming materials against purchase orders raised by the purchase team.
- Check that received items meet the specified standards and have been tested in the laboratory where required.
Material Issues
- Release materials only against approved indent requests.
- Maintain records for the returnable gate pass of items moved out for repair, maintenance, and similar purposes.
Systems
- Ensure all related transactions are entered into the system accurately and without delay.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for critical materials.
- Track items that reach reorder thresholds and initiate ordering as needed.
Innovation
- Identify at least one process improvement opportunity and implement it.
Self and Subordinate Development
- Provide on-the-job guidance and training to subordinate staff.
- Identify suitable training programs for personal development.
