Mechanic Helper

Overview

Fix Auto Edmonton East is hiring a mechanic helper to support day-to-day shop operations at its Edmonton, Alberta location.

Language Requirements

Strong working ability in English or French is needed for this role.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Applicants should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Work Location

This position is strictly on site. The work must be carried out at the physical location, with no remote-work option.

Work Site Environment

• Noise is present in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Transport tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
• Assist with holding stakes during surveying-related activities.
• Communicate safety signals to coworkers and the public when required.
• Support tradespeople, apprentices, and other staff members as directed.
• Keep machines and nearby work areas clean.
