About the Role
This position sits within Go-to-Market Operations and leads the Process Improvement Engine team under Strategic Planning & Initiatives. The group focuses on transformational work that improves sales processes and creates efficiencies that support growth for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business. The role is based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale, and follows a hybrid work model with a mix of home and office work on selected days based on team needs.
The successful candidate will bring strong program leadership, people management, communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills. This person will guide the team through complex, cross-functional work, support timely problem-solving for stakeholders, and help drive effective execution at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead programs end to end, from identifying the problem and building a data-backed hypothesis to shaping recommendations, influencing leadership decisions, planning stakeholder engagement, and managing change and operational readiness.
- Coach and develop team members so they understand program management and change management methods, while ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to deliver high-quality work.
- Establish productive partnerships with a broad set of stakeholders and position the team to succeed across initiatives.
- Serve as the program owner, making sure workstreams are structured well, risks are reduced early, the team is prepared, and success is tracked through the right KPIs.
- Keep stakeholders informed with consistent updates on program status, progress, and performance.
- Spot risks early across the portfolio and work with cross-functional partners to create practical mitigation plans.
- Continuously invest in team growth, learning from one another and pushing the quality of execution higher over time.
- Operate with an owner mindset by contributing beyond the immediate function, enabling scale, and delivering outcomes that support business goals.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in program management, project management, management consulting, sales or go-to-market operations, process improvement, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience, including leading and coaching teams.
- Bachelor’s degree, BS/BA, or equivalent practical experience in a technical or related area.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to manage time well, set priorities, and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Background in fast-paced, growth-oriented, performance-driven environments.
- Strong collaboration, influence, organization, and program management capabilities.
- Comfort with ambiguous problems and the ability to drive toward clear outcomes.
- Ability to communicate data in a practical, action-oriented way and learn new software quickly.
- Strategic thinking with a track record of consultative, data-driven decision support.
- Experience influencing accountability across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Exposure to CRM, sales, and data visualization tools.
- AI fluency.
- Understanding of core sales processes such as pipeline management, engagement tracking, account planning, quote-to-cash, and order-to-cash workflows.
- Experience with process and workflow design.
- Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages.
- Prior work in digital advertising or marketing.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is USD 126,000 to USD 204,000 annually. Final compensation can vary based on factors such as skills, experience depth, certifications, and work location. The overall package may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other incentive compensation.
