The job requires familiarity with mechanical equipment and its operation, preventive maintenance programs, yard care equipment, basic safety legislation and practices, fire codes, CSA standards, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals. Strong computer use is needed, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. The role also calls for good attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-moving environment, written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, teamwork, independent judgment, professional relationship-building, basic calculations, and strong respect for confidentiality. A culturally respectful approach is essential, and bilingual ability may be required for designated bilingual positions.

Three work-related references from non-related individuals with direct knowledge of current and past performance are required.
Reasonable accommodation may be requested for the application or selection process. Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply and may choose to self-identify in their cover letter or application.
