About the Role
This opportunity is with a leading insurance underwriter looking to bring a recent graduate into its Frankfurt team. The position suits someone who already has exposure to M&A transactions and wants to develop a career in the expanding M&A insurance space while working on prominent deals with seasoned underwriting specialists.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate M&A insurance deal workstreams and prepare core transaction materials such as closing checklists, certificates, and memoranda.
- Examine transaction documents and help assess both legal and commercial risk points.
- Carry out due diligence by gathering, arranging, and reviewing corporate records, contracts, financial data, and other target-company materials.
- Help draft and review supporting deal documents, including NDAs, consents, officer certificates, and closing items.
- Partner with underwriters, brokers, advisers, and clients across the full life of each transaction.
- Assist in evaluating deal risk and contribute to underwriting judgments.
- Handle several active transactions at once in a busy, fast-moving deal environment.
Candidate Profile
The employer is seeking a graduate from 2024, 2025, or 2026 with a background in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a similar field. Prior internship exposure in M&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Deal Advisory, or another transaction-focused setting is expected.
