Logistics Executive (Management Trainee)

Role Overview

This position supports day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities across transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and shipment coordination. The role also works closely with internal project and operations teams, as well as external vendors, to help ensure materials and equipment move on schedule and that records and documentation remain accurate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and track supply chain workflows, including transport, warehouse activities such as planning, receiving, storing, and issuing, and stock management.
• Work with project teams, operations teams, suppliers, and freight partners to help ensure equipment and materials are delivered on time.
• Respond to queries from end users about delivery timelines and logistics-related concerns.
• Prepare and process shipping paperwork required for customs declaration matters.
• Coordinate joint inspections of equipment and materials with project and quality assurance teams.
• Follow up on the closure of punch list items arising from joint inspections.
• Monitor shipment status and address issues such as delays, damage, or quantity/document mismatches.
• Keep logistics records up to date and produce routine reports.
• Review inventory levels regularly and arrange replenishment when needed.
• Ensure materials and hazardous items are stored under the correct conditions.
• Assist with audit documentation and support risk assessment activities.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Comfortable using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to inventory software or ERP platforms such as SAP is preferred.
• Strong organizational ability and practical problem-solving skills.
• Good spoken and written communication, along with interpersonal skills.
• Able to work on your own and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Previous experience in logistics or supply chain operations will be considered an advantage.

Work Location and Schedule

This role is based in Singapore across multiple yard locations: Tuas Boulevard Yard at 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051; Pioneer Yard at 50 Gul Road, Singapore 629353; Tuas Yard at Pioneer Sector 1, Singapore 628437; and Benoi Yard at 15 Benoi Road, Singapore 629888. Islandwide transport is provided for all listed sites.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 5:15pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
