This permanent full-time Librarian Grade 2 position is based across Wollongbar/Ballina in New South Wales. The role sits within TAFE NSW and offers a salary package of $116,135 to $131,770, which includes a base salary of $102,320 to $116,095 plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading.

What the role involves
As a Librarian Grade 2, you will provide high-quality library and information services in a fast-moving education and training environment. You will assist learners and educators through in-person and online support, encourage information literacy, and help people make effective use of both digital and physical resources. Working within a connected library network, you will partner with colleagues and other stakeholders, help improve services, and support the use of new technologies that improve learning.
About you
The preferred candidate will be a customer-oriented library professional with experience in frontline service delivery, supporting information literacy, and using emerging technologies in an educational context. Strong communication skills, initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are important. The role also requires willingness to travel as needed to support service delivery.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a recognised graduate or postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Science and be eligible for membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
