Laundry Attendant

Role Overview

Rotana Hotels is seeking a proactive and self-driven Laundry Attendant to support guest laundry operations and maintain consistently high service standards. In this role, you will help ensure that laundry requests are completed promptly and that the quality of work remains at the level expected by the hotel.

Key Duties

• Follow the hotel’s and laundry department’s policies, procedures, and working standards at all times.
• Carry out tasks carefully and efficiently to deliver accurate, high-quality results.
• Handle the flat iron equipment with proper care and attention.
• Process food and beverage linen through the flat iron as required.
• Fold bed sheets and towels in line with hotel presentation standards.
• Take on other duties assigned by supervisors whenever needed.
• Stay fully familiar with fire and safety procedures and apply them consistently.

Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes

The preferred candidate will have vocational training in laundry operations and prior experience in a similar hotel-based role. Strong English communication skills, along with a positive and friendly manner, are important for success in this position.

You should be a guest-oriented and polite professional with an outgoing, approachable personality. The role also requires someone who performs well in a busy, high-pressure setting, works effectively as part of a team, and contributes positively in a multicultural environment.
