Role overview

Frasers Hospitality is hiring a permanent Kitchen Porter for Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge in Bristol. The role is available for an immediate start and is based on a 40-hour week.

The standard pay for this position is £12.80 per hour, with a reduced rate of £10.85 per hour for workers under 18.

What the job involves

You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen and staff areas clean and orderly, helping the kitchen team maintain excellent hygiene standards throughout the day. A key part of the role is looking after the pot wash and plate wash areas and supporting the wider kitchen brigade as needed.

This can be a busy and physically demanding position, but it offers a strong introduction to how a professional kitchen operates and can be a stepping stone into a Chef career. The company actively supports internal progression and offers apprenticeships to committed employees.
