Janitorial Maintenance

About the Role

This position is part of a travel-center team focused on keeping the store, guest areas, and facilities clean, functional, and welcoming. The environment is fast-moving and people-oriented, with frequent interaction with travelers, drivers, commuters, and other guests.

Pay starts at $11.85 per hour and can go up to $17.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean and well maintained overall.
• Clean showers and restroom areas.
• Wash, load, and unload towels used for the showers.
• Handle general repair and maintenance tasks inside the store.
• Collect trash from around the travel center and dispose of it properly.
• Deliver strong guest service by helping maintain a neat and functional facility.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the day walking or standing.
• Available for a flexible schedule that may include nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and the ability to handle minor fixes is a plus.
