Role overview

Amazon’s operations organization is hiring ISS Representatives to support fulfillment center leaders and associates in delivering strong operational outcomes. This role is centered on guiding other associates, keeping teams motivated, and helping maintain a safe work environment.

Launch bonus details

This position is eligible for a launch bonus of $10,000 before tax. The bonus is automatically paid out three weeks before the start date once an offer is accepted.

Launch bonus eligibility

• The employee must be based at a site more than 50 miles away from the launch location, measured from the candidate’s home site to the launch site.
• The person must not have received another launch bonus in the same calendar year.
• The candidate must be hired within 30 days of first receive (FR).

Launch bonus repayment conditions

The bonus is prorated based on time served at the new launch site and may need to be repaid in certain cases, including:

• If the employee leaves Amazon voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus.
• If the employee is moved down from the role voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus.
• If the employee does not begin work at the new site.
• If the employee laterally transfers to another site within 6 months of the launch.

Working environment

Fulfillment center work at Amazon can involve changing noise and temperature levels, even with climate control. Hearing protection is available. The workplace follows a safety-first approach, including reflective vests and regular stretch/safety practices. Dress is casual as long as it meets safety requirements.

You may also be assigned work on a secure mezzanine at heights of up to 40 feet or on powered equipment such as a forklift or cherry picker.

Physical requirements

This role may require lifting up to 49 pounds, standing or walking for 10 to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Role requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. The role requires a 40-hour workweek, with overtime as needed, and flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays, and varying shifts or work areas.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications include at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to meet the schedule and physical demands of the role. Preferred qualification is 2 or more years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Compensation and benefits

The starting hourly pay for this role in Niagara Falls, NY is $23.00 to $24.00, including the base rate plus the highest available shift differential depending on the shift selected. Additional earnings may include overtime pay and performance bonuses. Benefits begin on day 1 and include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, holiday and overtime pay, employee discount, EAP, Mental Health Support, and Medical Advice Line. Relocation assistance is not provided.
