Inventory Storeperson

Role overview

An established nationwide business in East Tamaki is seeking a skilled Inventory Storeperson who has hands-on experience with Reach and/or Manup equipment. This position suits someone who takes pride in precision, can stay organised in a fast-moving warehouse, and enjoys solving stock-related problems.

The ideal candidate will already have solid inventory knowledge, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to operate Reach and Manup machinery safely and effectively.

Key duties

• Carry out daily cycle counts and complete stocktakes
• Use Reach and Manup equipment safely and efficiently
• Identify, investigate, and resolve stock discrepancies
• Enter data accurately and keep inventory records up to date
• Help with inbound and outbound goods when needed
• Contribute to warehouse orderliness and smooth workflow
• Work in line with all health and safety requirements

Candidate profile

• Current Reach and/or Manup (Stock Picker) forklift licence
• Background in inventory control or stock management
• Strong number handling ability and confident computer/data entry skills
• Capability to investigate variances and apply practical problem-solving
• Clear communication skills and dependable work ethic
• Physical ability to lift up to 25kg
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Ministry of Justice check
• Heights certification is advantageous, though not required because training can be arranged
