About POLYWOOD
POLYWOOD has spent 35 years redefining outdoor furniture with products made from recycled HDPE lumber. Its furniture is built to stand up to weather, active families, and changing trends. The company is a vertically integrated American manufacturer with ambitions that go beyond furniture and into the broader outdoor home space. As the brand grows, it is strengthening its marketing function with work that connects culture, creator partnerships, and earned media.
Role Overview
POLYWOOD is seeking an Influencer & PR Manager to help shape how the brand shows up in creator conversations, media coverage, and partnership opportunities. This is a hands-on position for someone who is deeply familiar with influencer marketing and public relations, and who can build productive relationships with agencies, media contacts, and creators across audience sizes.
The role sits at the center of the company’s influencer and PR efforts. You will work closely with the agency of record to plan, run, and improve campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and advocacy. You will also partner with the affiliate agency so creator partnerships and campaign performance stay aligned across brand and revenue goals. The position requires someone who can keep programs moving, uphold high standards, and ensure the brand story is reflected consistently across all creator and media touchpoints.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily execution of influencer and PR programs in coordination with the agency of record.
- Translate POLYWOOD’s brand direction into creator and cultural activations that strengthen the brand narrative, not only product exposure.
- Review, refine, and approve creator content so it aligns with brand voice, quality expectations, and visual standards.
- Work with the affiliate agency to keep creator partnerships, content, campaign plans, and reporting aligned with both brand-building and performance goals.
- Manage the master calendar for influencer campaigns, seasonal moments, product introductions, PR activity, and affiliate-supported initiatives.
- Organize gifting, product shipments, and creator-related logistics by coordinating with warehouse, fulfillment, and creative teams.
- Monitor campaign results and prepare reports covering reach, engagement, earned media value, traffic, and conversions, then share key takeaways with internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Stay ahead of emerging creators, platform trends, and cultural moments and bring those opportunities to the team early.
- Act as the main link between agency partners and internal teams across creative, paid media, ecommerce, and brand functions to support integrated execution.
- Assist with PR work by coordinating with the PR agency on media outreach, press opportunities, product placements, and earned coverage connected to brand and product announcements.
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or PR, ideally with a consumer brand or a consumer-focused agency.
- Strong understanding of the creator ecosystem across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest, along with a clear perspective on what makes partnerships effective.
- Working knowledge of affiliate marketing and creator commerce, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with an affiliate agency and interpret performance data.
- A brand-building mindset and the ability to distinguish between short-term placements and partnerships that create long-term brand value.
- Solid agency management skills, including briefing, giving feedback, maintaining standards, and driving accountability without over-managing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefs, recaps, and executive updates.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, contracts, shipping coordination, and performance dashboards.
- Experience using influencer and UGC management platforms.
- Strong visual judgement and cultural awareness, with an understanding of what captures attention for both new and existing audiences.
- Bonus consideration for experience in home, lifestyle, or design-related categories.
Why This Role Matters
This position sits within Brand Communications, one of four functions in POLYWOOD’s Brand Marketing organization. The team is responsible for bringing the brand into culture and into customers’ lives. Influencer and PR work is a key part of how POLYWOOD appears in the conversations that shape audience perception of outdoor living.
The role connects brand strategy with real-world execution, turning vision into creator content, media coverage, and cultural moments that help POLYWOOD become a brand people talk about, not only a brand they purchase from.
Equal Opportunity Statement
POLYWOOD is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants without regard to characteristics protected by federal, state, or local law.
