Role overview
Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Bargod, Wales. This is a full-time, on-site role with an hourly pay rate of £13.71. The position is suited to someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and interacting with customers while delivering groceries. The job involves representing the company as a direct point of contact for shoppers and helping ensure deliveries arrive in excellent condition.
What you will do
- Load the van safely, including handling heavy items and following manual-handling rules.
- Drive in a careful manner and follow all road-safety requirements.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and during shifts.
- Make sure customer orders reach them in good condition.
- Deliver friendly and professional service at the customer’s doorstep.
- Support in-store tasks whenever needed.
- Work on your own and organise your time effectively.
- Be flexible with shift patterns, which may run between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
What we are looking for
- A full driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A positive, approachable attitude and genuine interest in good customer experiences.
- Good timekeeping and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong awareness of safe driving and road conditions.
