Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Middleton, England. This is an on-site full-time position paying £13.71 per hour. The role is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road.
As a delivery driver, you will represent Iceland at the customer’s doorstep, ensuring shopping is delivered safely, promptly, and in excellent condition. What the role involves
- Follow correct van loading procedures, including safe manual handling and lifting.
- Drive safely and consistently follow road safety requirements.
- Carry out routine checks on the delivery van before use.
- Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
- Deliver helpful and professional customer service during each drop-off.
- Support the store team when needed.
- Work on your own initiative and manage time effectively.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
