About the Role
Iceland Foods is seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Halifax, England. Responsibilities
- Safely load the delivery van, adhering to manual handling and heavy lifting procedures.
- Maintain safe driving practices at all times.
- Conduct regular checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure all delivered groceries reach the customer in optimal condition.
- Deliver exceptional customer service during every delivery.
- Provide assistance within the store when needed.
- Work autonomously and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varied shifts between 6 AM and 11 PM.
Requirements
- Possession of a full driving license, held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Punctuality and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- A strong understanding and demonstration of road safety awareness.
