Role overview
Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Milford Haven, Wales. The role offers an hourly pay rate of £13.71 and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers.
What the job is about
In this position, you will deliver customer shopping and represent the company as the main point of contact at the doorstep. The role is focused on safe delivery, good service, and reliable day-to-day driving.
Key responsibilities
- Load the van safely and follow correct manual handling practices, including heavier lifting where needed.
- Drive carefully and follow all safe driving rules at all times.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and during use.
- Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
- Deliver friendly and helpful customer service.
- Support the store team whenever help is needed.
- Work on your own initiative and manage time efficiently.
- Be available for varied shift patterns, with working hours that may fall between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
What we’re looking for
Applicants should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 points on it. You should also be positive, approachable, committed to good customer service, reliable with timekeeping, able to meet deadlines, and alert to road safety.
