Role Overview
We are looking for a committed and detail-focused GSA Housekeeping professional in Coimbatore, India. The role is responsible for keeping guest rooms, shared spaces, and other assigned areas clean, hygienic, and visually appealing so guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Handle guest housekeeping requests and concerns quickly and professionally.
- Store and use cleaning supplies, equipment, and guest amenities in the correct manner.
- Work closely with other departments to support a smooth guest experience.
- Escalate maintenance concerns and any safety risks to the right team members.
- Protect guest privacy and help safeguard hotel property and room security.
- Follow company procedures, policies, and safety requirements at all times.
- Support stock tracking for cleaning materials and linens.
- Take part in training to stay current with improved cleaning practices and techniques.
- Contribute to a respectful, professional, and positive workplace atmosphere.
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or a similar environment is preferred. The right candidate should be customer-oriented, attentive to detail, well organized, and able to manage time effectively. The role also calls for good physical stamina, knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices, and the flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong English communication skills are required, and additional languages are an advantage. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is important.
