About the Brand
Parcu is a Sydney-based label focused on streetwear and vintage-inspired everyday basics, with heavyweight cotton pieces at the core of the range. The brand keeps things restrained and intentional, making clean, durable garments where the graphics play a key role in the overall look.
The Opportunity
This contract role is for a freelance graphic designer who can develop the visual artwork featured on Parcu tees. You’ll receive creative briefs and have room to interpret them in your own style, while working collaboratively with the team. As a contract arrangement, you’ll raise invoices for completed work and can manage your own schedule around agreed deadlines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Turning supplied briefs into original graphics and artwork for tees and other apparel
- Approaching each brief with a distinct creative perspective while staying aligned to the direction provided
- Preparing files that are ready for garment printing and production
- Helping shape the brand’s visual identity across future collections
- Working closely with the team to develop ideas from initial concept through final delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in graphic design, preferably within apparel, fashion, or streetwear
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates original graphic and artwork creation
- Hands-on experience with professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of print and garment production, including print-ready file preparation and methods such as DTG, DTF, or screen printing
- Confidence in responding to design briefs and delivering work to direction
- A self-directed, dependable working style with the ability to meet agreed timelines
Additional Information
A qualification in graphic design or a related discipline is appreciated, but it is not required. The key priority is the strength of your portfolio and the quality of your creative thinking.
How to Apply
Please share your portfolio together with a brief note outlining your background and what you are currently working on.
