Role Overview
BerlinRosen, part of Orchestra, is hiring a Graphic Designer for the BerlinRosen Campaigns team to support the 2026 election cycle. This temporary full-time role calls for a designer with strong technical ability and a clear interest in politics, capable of turning broad ideas into compelling direct mail, canvassing materials, digital ads, social content, and other campaign creative.
The assignment runs from May 2026 through October 23, 2026. Compensation is set at $70,000 per year on a prorated basis.
This position is anchored in New York, N.Y. with a hybrid arrangement of three in-office days each week. Candidates based in the United States who prefer to work remotely may also be considered. The employer is also open to applicants from Washington, D.C. as noted in the location details.

About the Campaigns Team
The Campaigns team is a well-established Democratic political consulting and direct mail group known for helping clients win challenging races. Its in-house creative studio focuses on brand strategy, copywriting, design, and direct mail production, partnering closely with clients from the earliest brainstorming stage through final creative delivery. The team is made up of strategists, copywriters, branding specialists, and designers working together on campaign communications.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will work with art directors and account team members across multiple campaigns to create and refine attention-grabbing direct mail and other political campaign materials. You will help develop visual concepts for mail pieces, adjust designs based on feedback while protecting layout quality and brand consistency, and keep project files organized and up to date. The position also requires consistent delivery against demanding deadlines for a variety of candidates.
Required Background
The employer is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in print design and art direction, ideally in an agency or similar setting. Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is expected. The role also calls for someone who is detail-focused, efficient, well organized, highly productive, and comfortable collaborating closely with others while managing time effectively.
You should be able to juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment, work independently as well as with a team, and remain adaptable when plans shift. The job may require extended hours, including nights and weekends, during busy periods, and the selected candidate should be able to pivot quickly when last-minute deadlines arise.
Preferred Experience
Extra consideration may be given to candidates with editorial design experience or prior work on political campaigns.
