Graphic Designer

About the Role

Northern News Services is seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of typography, layout, and design principles. This key team member will be responsible for developing impactful digital and print designs that meet and surpass client objectives. The role operates on a 37.5-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create compelling graphic designs for both digital and print media.
• Ensure all designs align with client goals and objectives, aiming to exceed expectations.
• Apply a strong understanding of typography, layout, and fundamental graphic design principles.
• Maintain a high standard of visual quality and attention to detail in all creative output.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Graphic Design.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-media design.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful design work.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The role involves a standard 37.5-hour work week.
