Role Summary

This is an on-site, full-time General Practitioner position in Doha, Qatar. The selected doctor will deliver broad primary care services, including consultations, physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for both acute and chronic medical conditions. The role also requires coordination with specialists and other care professionals to ensure a seamless, integrated patient journey.

Key Duties

• Conduct patient consultations and carry out complete physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage both short-term and ongoing medical conditions.
• Request, review, and interpret diagnostic investigations as needed.
• Prescribe suitable medications and treatment plans.
• Refer patients to specialists when advanced care or further evaluation is required.
• Work alongside dermatology, physiotherapy, and wellness teams to support coordinated treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
• Help develop and refine clinical protocols and practice standards.
• Support patient education efforts and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Practice in line with Aionis’ patient-focused and data-driven care model.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong medical background with proven experience in primary care and family medicine.
• Exposure to nursing or multidisciplinary care settings, with excellent patient communication skills.
• Prior involvement in training, mentoring, or educating junior colleagues is preferred.
• MBBS or an equivalent medical degree, with residency completed in Family Medicine, General Practice, or a related discipline.
• A valid, unrestricted license to practice as a General Practitioner in Qatar, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience in outpatient, clinic-based, wellness, preventive care, or integrative medicine environments.
• Comfortable using technology-enabled clinical systems, including AI-assisted tools and electronic medical records.
• Excellent diagnostic judgment, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills grounded in evidence-based medicine.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
