Key accountabilities

• Assist the Site Engineer or Supervisor in building and maintaining strong working relationships at the site and operational level.
• Carry out daily water testing and service activities aligned to the agreed customer assurance and continuous improvement plans.
• Share daily analytical findings, flag deviations promptly, and address non-conformances in a timely manner.
• Meet customer stakeholders each day to strengthen relationships and stay updated on operational needs.
• Track onsite chemical stock levels and oversee the site assistant during chemical placement and re-batching activities.
• Observe chemical dosing systems, confirm dosage targets are met, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed.
• Handle monthly coupon extraction and replacement tasks for corrosion monitoring.
• Support the Site Engineer with surveys of plant water systems.
• Perform startup activities for Nalco treatment applications after outages or downtime.
• Provide technical assistance to the Site Engineer to help resolve customer issues, escalating cases when appropriate.
• Contribute to problem solving through system analysis, data interpretation, and practical recommendations that improve plant performance.
• Support the use and rollout of Nalco innovations and technology while delivering service support.
• Help ensure treatment program performance remains within required limits at all times.
• Promote a partnership mindset and a win-win approach at the customer location.
• Follow Nalco’s safety and quality procedures, including the correct PPE for all tasks.
• Service the assigned account to support KPIs, maintain business-process documentation, and proactively reduce operational risks.

Qualifications

• A technical degree in Science or Engineering is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Applicants should be proactive, disciplined, and forward-thinking.
• The role requires someone who can work independently and communicate well with others.
• Fluency in English is necessary.
• Prior exposure to water treatment, especially reverse osmosis systems, is a strong advantage.
