Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where you will help shape sophisticated storytelling workflows in a hybrid AI-and-human setup. The work is remote and part-time, and is suited to creative specialists with practical expertise in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven presentations.

In this freelance engagement, you will work alongside Tendem Agents that take care of repetitive production tasks while you contribute the judgment, domain knowledge, and design polish needed to produce high-impact decks and one-pagers. The role centers on making dense information easy to follow and visually compelling.

What the role involves

You will design presentations that rely on strong storytelling and clear visual structure. The focus is on converting raw data and complex narratives into persuasive slides and concise one-pagers. Common tools for the role include PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

• Create polished pitch decks and one-pagers tailored to specific audiences and business goals.
• Turn complicated information and data into clean, minimal, and well-structured visual stories.
• Improve presentation quality through custom typography, refined motion, and consistent design treatment.
• Maintain a premium look that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation style.
• Review layouts carefully before delivery to ensure alignment, pacing, brand consistency, and overall visual accuracy.

Requirements

• Preferably 2 or more years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative discipline is considered an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Keynote for building complex, dynamic, and animated decks.
• Advanced capability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom layouts and graphics.
• Ability to simplify complex data and layered structures into clear, elegant visual communication.
• Strong handling of typography and animation for premium-quality presentation output.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Practical experience producing high-end presentation materials with a refined corporate-and-creative aesthetic.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard for visual accuracy.
• Independent work style with the ability to solve design issues without close supervision.
• A CV that includes a portfolio link showcasing presentation work, pitch decks, and data visualization examples; applications without this will not be considered.

Project expectations

During active phases of the project, work is estimated at about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an approximate expectation and is not a guaranteed workload; it applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on their level and the speed of contribution. Pay can differ across projects based on scope, complexity, and expertise required.
