About Zing / Sizzle TV
Zing is an entertainment brand built around fast-moving, story-led content for audiences around the world. Its overseas content division, Sizzle TV, creates and produces short-form vertical drama series tailored for international platforms and mobile-first viewing.
Role Overview
Zing is seeking a Post Production Editor to assist with the post-production pipeline for short-form vertical drama projects. The role centers on editorial updates, support for A/B testing, quality control coordination, preparation of delivery materials, and careful version tracking.
This opportunity suits an editor who is highly organized, meticulous, and able to operate comfortably in a busy environment with tight turnaround times. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Producer and work with production companies, editors, and post-production teams to refine episode cuts, review technical and creative issues, and help ensure final deliverables align with both internal and platform requirements.
It is a good match for someone with experience in short-form scripted work, digital series, vertical storytelling, or mobile-first formats, and who enjoys balancing creative edit support with technical precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply edit changes to existing vertical drama cuts based on guidance and creative notes from the Executive Producer.
- Create alternate episode or scene versions for A/B testing, creative refinement, and performance evaluation.
- Carry out small to moderate edit updates such as pacing improvements, trimming, sequence reordering, and requested audio or visual changes.
- Support improvement of episode edits while keeping the story easy to follow, the pacing effective, the emotional flow intact, and the creative vision preserved.
- Export revised cuts and keep file versions clean, structured, and easy to review internally.
- Assess episodes and deliverables for technical and creative problems before internal approval or final delivery.
- Check for issues such as audio balance, color continuity, missing frames, flash frames, subtitle mistakes, export problems, sync issues, and delivery errors.
- Work with the Executive Producer, production company, and post-production teams to share QC notes and revision feedback.
- Monitor revisions and verify that every requested fix has been completed before delivery is finalized.
- Help preserve consistency across episodes, alternate versions, and delivery packages.
- Label, organize, and monitor multiple episode versions used for revision, testing, internal review, and platform delivery.
- Support the preparation of files for internal review, testing, archival, and platform submission.
- Maintain clear records of revision notes, version history, file naming, and delivery status when needed.
- Make sure final deliverables are properly arranged, accessible, and ready for review or handoff.
Qualifications
- Background in post-production editing, assistant editing, or post-production coordination.
- Exposure to vertical drama, short-form content, digital entertainment, scripted programming, or mobile-first storytelling.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
- Solid grasp of post-production processes, file organization, version control, export workflows, and quality control checks.
- Strong eye for detail, especially when checking subtitles, sound, color, synchronization, and final exports.
- Clear communication and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple revision rounds and quick delivery timelines.
- Comfort with receiving direction and implementing creative feedback from producers or senior stakeholders.
