Stellenbeschreibung
About the role
Wring is expanding quickly, having grown from zero to €1M in revenue in just eight months. The company helps startups cut cloud spending at no cost to the customer. As the team scales, the founders are looking for a versatile right hand who can meaningfully reduce their workload and keep the business running smoothly.
This is a broad, high-trust role for an early-career person who wants to learn how a fast-growing startup is built from the inside. You will work closely with the founders on the systems, processes, and day-to-day work that keep the company moving.
Role focus
You will contribute across internal operations, AWS- and partner-related workflows, finance, administration, hiring support, and any urgent priorities that arise during the week. The position is intentionally generalist and comes with real ownership rather than routine support tasks.
What you'll do
- Help run internal operations by improving tools, processes, and automations that allow a small team to stay fast and efficient.
- Identify repetitive manual work and help replace it with better workflows.
- Take responsibility for selected finance and admin tasks such as invoicing, billing, and contract handling.
- Support hiring activities through sourcing candidates, arranging interviews, and maintaining communication with applicants.
- Own founder-assigned projects, including research, process setup, and one-off tasks that need careful execution.
What you should bring
- A quick learning mindset and the ability to get things done without needing years of prior experience.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage many small tasks across different areas at once.
- Confident communication in English; German is an advantage because of partner and administrative work.
- A strong sense of ownership and the willingness to solve problems even when they are messy or repetitive.
- Comfort working in an environment with limited structure and evolving processes.
- Availability for at least 6 months as either a working student alongside studies or a full-time intern.
Nice-to-have background
- Experience using spreadsheets, no-code tools, or simple scripting to speed up operations.
- Interest in startups, finance/FinOps, or cloud infrastructure and the business side of these topics.
- Previous exposure to internships or startup environments.
Compensation and benefits
Working student compensation is €18–23 per hour. Full-time interns are paid €2,800–3,500 per month. The minimum commitment is 6 months. Working students can expect flexibility around their studies.
You will work directly with the founders and gain visibility into how a company that scaled from €0 to €1M in 8 months operates. The role offers real responsibility from the beginning, a strong opportunity for future full-time conversion, and team off-sites in European destinations. The position is remote within Germany, with regular in-person time with the founders and team.
About Wring
Wring helps startups save on cloud costs for free. The company supports customers by identifying incentive programs they may not access on their own, helping them make smarter commitment decisions, and using tooling to guide infrastructure choices. Wring passes all value directly to customers and earns revenue on the backend as an AWS channel partner, with no fee, no cut, and no code changes required.
Additional information
This position is available as a working student role or an internship. It is remote within Germany, and candidates should be prepared for regular in-person collaboration with the founders and team.
