Role Overview

This opening is for a full-time, on-site Finishing Carpenter based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The position centers on precision carpentry work that delivers polished, high-quality final finishes. The carpenter will measure, cut, assemble, and fit wood and related materials, along with installing items such as moldings, trims, cabinets, and other finishing components. The job requires accurate use of hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand blueprints and plans to ensure excellent workmanship.

Key Duties

• Carry out finishing carpentry tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and similar materials for final installation.
• Fit and install moldings, trims, cabinets, and other decorative or functional finishing elements.
• Work safely and effectively with hand tools and power tools.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship in all completed work.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid background in carpentry and finishing carpentry with a focus on fine workmanship.
• Practical experience using hand tools and power tools for woodworking tasks.
• Knowledge of framing methods and structural woodworking basics.
• Ability to understand blueprints and design requirements.
• Careful attention to detail and a commitment to precise finishing.
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Prior exposure to construction or a similar trade is an advantage.
• Basic awareness of jobsite safety procedures and practices.
