This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles all applications and follow-up steps. The hiring company is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst based in Germany to support a busy international finance function.

The position is centered on day-to-day financial operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reporting. You will help maintain reliable financial records, keep transactions accurate, and support scalable finance processes. The role also involves working closely with account managers, legal, and other internal teams to interpret customer agreements and make sure financial actions are carried out correctly. In addition to operational work, you will contribute to improving workflows, systems, and controls in a collaborative global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full cycle of financial operations work, including payables, receivables, and customer account reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and timely completion.
• Generate and send customer invoices every month in line with contract terms and internal compliance rules.
• Handle vendor invoice processing, purchase order coordination, and approval follow-ups while keeping operations organized.
• Review financial indicators such as AR/AP aging, cost patterns, and inventory changes to support business decisions.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with data uploads, reconciliations, and system maintenance tasks as needed.
• Work with internal stakeholders to onboard vendors and enhance finance processes, tools, and operational efficiency.
• Respond to finance-related questions from both internal and external parties in a precise, professional, and service-oriented manner.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 1 year working directly with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• A solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and financial operations practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and other Google Workspace applications.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero or comparable systems.
• Excellent organizational ability, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle several priorities at once.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills, with a proactive and professional mindset.
• Ability to spot process improvements and contribute effectively in a team-based environment.
