The Financial Analyst II plays a key role in providing financial analysis and operational support to senior management and executives. This individual supports the development and coordination of the company’s financial planning processes, models, and systems, as well as corporate, management, and KPI reporting. The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships between Finance and the broader organization by delivering clear, thoughtful analysis that helps leaders better manage the business.In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and provide financial support across planning, control, and analytical activities. Responsibilities include consolidated reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis. The insights generated by this role contribute directly to PROS’ success as we continue to execute our profitable growth strategy.A Day in the Life of the Financial Analyst IIAssist in the annual and periodic budgeting and forecasting processes, including support of business unit budgetsMaintain and update financial planning and reporting models used for forecasts, budgets, and performance analysisIdentify trends and emerging issues to support a dynamic and evolving business environmentPartner with Accounting to support the monthly close, reporting, and forecast processesPrepare and support monthly senior management and Board reporting deliverablesProduce ad hoc analyses and reports for senior leaders to support decision‑makingAnalyze, synthesize, and translate data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions by senior leadershipConduct research related to financial metrics, benchmarks, and trend analysisParticipate in cross‑functional projects and business analysesContribute to the development and implementation of FP&A process and reporting improvements Qualifications- About YouStrong analytical and research skills with attention to detailAbility to gather information from multiple sources and distill findings into clear, actionable insightsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentComfortable communicating and partnering with diverse groups across the organization RequirementsAdvanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and WordExperience with financial modeling, budgeting, and planning systemsAbility to support senior management through high‑quality analysis, reporting, and presentation materialsMinimum Qualifications2–3 years of related experience in FP&A, banking, corporate strategy, or consultingSoftware or SaaS industry experience preferredEducationB.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related disciplineSkills & Personal Characteristics:OwnershipCareInnovationWhy Join PROS?PROS culture and its extraordinary people are at the core of our success.
