About the role

CowManager is an international technology business expanding quickly, with solutions that help dairy farmers make better decisions through live cow monitoring. Its products are trusted by farmers in more than 45 countries.

As the New Zealand operation grows, the company is seeking a Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial administration, keep local reporting accurate, and handle customer account matters. This person will be the main finance contact in New Zealand while working closely with the Global Finance team based in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts receivable, create invoices, and follow up on collections
  • Carry out reconciliations for bank accounts, debtors, and the general ledger
  • Keep financial records up to date and support month-end close activities
  • Assist with GST compliance and other finance administration tasks
  • Serve as the first contact for customer queries related to accounts
  • Track overdue balances and organise payment arrangements
  • Support reporting, cash flow tracking, and budgeting work
  • Share clear and accurate financial information with local and global stakeholders
  • Look for ways to strengthen finance processes and internal controls
  • Work in coordination with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams
