Role Overview

This Finance Data Analyst role supports the Third Party Brand area by turning financial information into clear reporting, analysis, forecasts, and commercial insight. The position partners closely with finance and business stakeholders to explain performance, support planning cycles, and improve decision-making through strong financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, review, and interpret data to track how the Third Party Brand areas are performing.
• Prepare and improve weekly and monthly reports, ensuring they are delivered on time and include useful commentary for the Finance Manager on key movements and trends.
• Contribute to monthly actuals planning and delivery, working alongside Financial Accounting and FP&A teams to manage month-end activity and explain the main drivers behind performance.
• Assist the Finance Manager with the monthly P&L latest-view forecast for the Third Party Brand area.
• Carry out short-term cash flow reforecasting for PF and AFS areas.
• Support the preparation and analysis for Monthly Finance Review meetings with Commercial HoDs, focusing on their department performance.
• Act as a finance partner to the Third Party Brands, Partner Fulfils, and AFS teams by understanding divisional performance and responding to finance-related needs.
• Develop a strong grasp of the profit model to influence commercial decisions and support improvements in Variable Contribution.
• Build cash flow and P&L models for business cases, using the profit model to guide decision-making and to evaluate commercial performance after launch.
• Own budget forecasting for Third Party Brands other income lines, coordinating with stakeholders to complete the process.
• Help strengthen a culture that actively supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Requirements

• Ability to examine financial data, interpret findings, and turn them into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritise work and stay effective in a fast-moving environment.
• Good interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and solid problem-solving ability.
• Experience with financial modelling and finance/reporting tools, with MS Excel, Databricks, and Dynamics preferred.
• Strong presentation skills using MS PowerPoint, including confidence when speaking to senior leaders.
• ACA, CIMA, or ACCA part-qualified status.
