F&B Service Expert

Role overview

This position is part of the Food & Beverage team at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The focus is not only on serving meals and drinks, but on shaping a polished and memorable guest experience from start to finish.

The Guest Service Expert supports service delivery by preparing tables, coordinating with the kitchen, engaging with guests, serving food and beverages, and keeping work areas and equipment clean and organized. The role is expected to turn routine service moments into part of the overall dining experience.

Key duties

• Set up tables and service areas in line with brand and quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth meal service.
• Interact with guests in a professional, attentive, and welcoming manner.
• Serve food and drinks while maintaining a high level of hospitality.
• Clean and reset work areas, supplies, and service stations as required.

Work expectations

• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Present a professional appearance, including uniform, grooming, and communication standards.
• Be prepared for long periods on your feet, including standing, walking, or sitting as required.
• Work safely on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces when needed.
• Read and verify menu information carefully.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, placing, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Be able to move items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support the guest experience and business needs.

Preferred qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior related experience of less than 1 year is preferred. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
