Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Ductman will handle the installation, assembly, and support of ductwork used in HVAC and ventilation systems, following drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. The work involves measuring and marking duct positions, cutting and shaping sheet metal or prefabricated duct sections, fitting and fastening duct components, and installing hangers, supports, and insulation.

The role also requires working with supervisors and other trades on site, helping with testing and inspection of completed systems, and keeping the work area orderly and safe. The candidate will be expected to follow company procedures, comply with local rules and standards, and help ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on capability in installing, assembling, and aligning ductwork for HVAC and industrial ventilation systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and basic engineering instructions related to ducting work.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, fasten, and support duct materials safely and accurately.
• Understanding of site safety practices, safe material handling at height, and relevant HSE compliance requirements.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC components, air distribution principles, and duct insulation methods.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to coordinate with supervisors and other trades while following instructions with limited oversight.
• Physical fitness for manual tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
• Prior experience as a ductman or in a similar HVAC installation role; Gulf project experience is an added advantage.
• High school education or an equivalent qualification; vocational training or certification in HVAC, ducting, or a related trade is preferred.
• Willingness to work at construction sites across Dubai and adapt to changing schedules and project needs.
