Driver - Side Lift

Role overview

This is a permanent full-time driving opportunity based in Brooklyn, Victoria. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, with the possibility of overtime and a monthly RDO.

What you will do

• Operate a side-lift collection truck on municipal contract routes.
• Carry out the loading and unloading of waste materials.
• Transport collected loads to approved recycling and disposal facilities.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well presented, both inside and outside.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will already have solid HR driving experience. Side-lift background is preferred, but the employer is prepared to train the right person.

Additional requirements

• A valid HR licence with at least 2 years of experience, or prior side-lift experience.
• Previous work in waste-related operations is highly desirable.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medicals, as well as drug and alcohol screening.
• Availability for an early morning start.
• A clean driving record.
• A strong customer service approach.
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.
