Role Overview

This position focuses on preparing technical drawings and layout plans for mechanical systems and bulk material handling arrangements. The work involves creating detailed 2D and 3D deliverables, supporting plant and equipment layout development, and coordinating with clients and consultants as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials, and related documentation for mechanical equipment, plant layouts, and structural elements.
• Prepare layout drawings for belt conveyors and other bulk material handling equipment.
• Develop equipment layouts for areas such as crusher houses, stockpile zones, and storage sheds.
• Work on pipe conveyor layout preparation and associated design drawings.
• Use AutoCAD 3D effectively for drafting and model development.
• Build 3D layout models using software such as SolidWorks, SP3D, E3D, and Plant 3D.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants, and be open to travel to project sites for discussions and meetings.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and support design-related coordination activities.

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of belt conveyors and related bulk material handling systems.
• Ability to produce accurate plant layout drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD 3D and drafting tools.
• Knowledge of preparing layout drawings for crusher houses, stockpiles, and storage sheds.
• Familiarity with pipe conveyor layouts.
• Hands-on exposure to 3D design software such as SolidWorks, SP3D, E3D, and Plant 3D.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates with ITI certification in any specialization or a diploma in ITI are eligible to apply.
