Job Summary

The Dish Tech is responsible for washing and sanitizing tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, while keeping the dish area orderly and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and other cooking tools.
• Maintain a neat, organized dish area and keep equipment in proper condition.
• Operate the dish machine by loading, running, and unloading it correctly.
• Inspect the dish machine regularly and promptly report any technical or mechanical issues.
• Follow all safety standards while carrying out dish room tasks.

Requirements

• No prior restaurant experience is necessary.
• You should have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in a hot, wet, humid, and noisy environment for extended periods.
• Physical stamina is required, including the ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
• You must be able to stand for long stretches, up to 10 hours at a time.
• You should be able to safely handle and lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
