Digital Media Designer

About the role

Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a Digital Media Designer to support its marketing efforts across paid and owned channels. The role focuses on building static and motion-driven branded assets for a range of game franchises and experiences, helping shape how audiences engage with EA’s brands and communities. This position is based in Los Angeles and can be worked remotely.

EA’s marketing organization supports major franchises such as The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. The team works across content creation, fandom building, interactive storytelling, and franchise positioning within the wider entertainment space.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual assets that support franchise design systems, including logos, graphic elements, templates for social and retail use, and style guides.
• Work from existing templates and brand guidelines to produce on-brand materials.
• Develop digital assets for banners, email, social media, landing pages, and in-game campaigns.
• Make sure creative output follows brand rules, platform requirements, licensor standards, and industry specifications.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders and game studio teams to deliver polished design work for both HD and mobile formats.
• Produce standard digital formats such as HTML5 banners, animated GIFs, cinemagraphs, and video-based creative.
• Provide design support for internal EA initiatives and programs.
• Take projects from early concept through final delivery for brand, retail, paid, and owned channels across different player groups.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional design experience in either an agency setting or an internal marketing team.
• Ability to present creative work to stakeholders and handle feedback constructively while making the needed revisions.
• Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Hands-on experience with video and animation deliverables, including GIFs and cinemagraphs.

Compensation and benefits

For California, the expected pay range for this role is USD 85,800 to USD 130,800, depending on the specific location such as Los Angeles or San Francisco. Final compensation will be determined by relevant business and candidate factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.

For temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time in the US, the benefits package includes 3 weeks of paid time off per year to start, 80 hours of sick time annually, 16 paid company holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k).
