About the Role

This opportunity is for a partner company, which will handle applications and all follow-up steps. The hiring team is seeking a Developer Portal & Community Manager based in the United Arab Emirates. The role is central to how a technical open-hardware product is documented, interpreted, and embraced by its worldwide developer community.

You will take end-to-end ownership of the Developer Portal, turning it into a dependable, well-organized, and easy-to-use reference point for engineers, contributors, and enthusiasts. In close partnership with hardware and software teams, you will convert internal technical activity into public-facing documentation and updates that are clear, useful, and community-friendly. This is a practical technical communication role that requires real product understanding, not just the ability to explain information. You will also serve as the connection point between engineering teams and the external community, making sure feedback moves effectively in both directions. The work environment is collaborative, fast-paced, transparent, and centered on open development.

What You Will Do

• Take full ownership of the Developer Portal and keep improving its structure, accuracy, and usefulness for contributors and developers.
• Rework internal engineering updates, technical discussions, and product changes into public documentation that is easy to follow.
• Manage wiki pages, GitHub repositories, and other developer resources across several sub-projects.
• Join engineering conversations and team meetings to stay in sync with ongoing development and product decisions.
• Review and moderate community posts, issues, discussions, and pull requests to keep collaboration constructive and high quality.
• Gather input from the developer community, organize it, and share useful insights with internal teams.
• Keep community communication organized, purposeful, and aligned with project priorities.
• Support developers in understanding the portal, contributing effectively, and participating in the broader ecosystem.

What They Are Looking For

• Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear technical documentation, guides, or README-style content.
• Good understanding of software development workflows, including Git, branches, commits, and pull requests.
• Ability to simplify complex technical ideas into structured explanations, using diagrams or flowcharts when helpful.
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to draw key takeaways from technical conversations.
• Comfort working closely with engineers and discussing both hardware and software topics.
• Capability to separate useful feedback from noise while keeping attention on constructive, high-value contributions.
• Well-developed organizational skills and a strong sense of structure, clarity, and information architecture.
• Strong interest in developer tools, hardware products, open-source communities, and build-in-public development culture.
• Fluency in English and Russian for internal collaboration and community communication.
• Prior exposure to DevRel, technical writing, community management, or developer portals is a plus.
