Role Overview
This position focuses on building and improving defensive software for cyber security use cases. You will work with threat specialists to strengthen information systems by developing inventive tools and protection mechanisms for a range of environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cyber threat specialists to improve the security of information systems by designing and building creative defensive tools.
- Perform exploratory research and reverse engineering on new malware defence technologies, then assess how well they protect different platforms such as enterprise servers, desktops, mobile devices, and network communications.
- Create, build, and deploy software-based protection measures that help defend against cyber threats.
- Examine security incidents and use the findings to improve current software security approaches and solutions.
Requirements
- A qualification in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Genuine enthusiasm and strong interest in the infocomm security domain.
- Solid programming knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with C/C++ is an advantage.
- This role is open to both entry-level and senior candidates.
