About the Role
This opportunity is with Nexthink, a company focused on digital employee experience management software. It helps IT teams identify, investigate, and resolve issues at scale before employees are affected, using real-time visibility across applications and networks. With more than 1,500 customers and over 25 million employees supported, Nexthink operates from dual headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland and Boston, Massachusetts, with offices around the world.
Nexthink is seeking a strategic and hands-on Creative Director to guide the next stage of its brand and creative organization. In this position, you will shape the company’s visual identity and creative standards, ensuring the brand is represented consistently across customer-facing and internal experiences. You will also connect business priorities to creative output that supports awareness, demand generation, and growth, while helping build the team and workflows needed to scale.
Why This Role Matters
As a leader in the Digital Employee Experience space, the way Nexthink presents itself visually and narratively plays a major role in how the market perceives the company. This role is central to that perception. You will work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth, Communications, and Executive Leadership to elevate creative quality and impact while enabling a growing organization to produce high-quality work more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the evolution of the brand system, visual identity, and creative standards across all channels and touchpoints.
- Turn go-to-market and business priorities into creative ideas that support launches, demand generation, conversion, and thought leadership.
- Direct integrated campaigns from concept development through production and final delivery.
- Maintain brand consistency across web, digital and lifecycle marketing, paid media, social platforms, events, sales materials, and executive communications.
- Collaborate with executive leaders on keynote presentations, investor-facing content, and major company announcements.
- Oversee agencies, production partners, and freelance contributors to extend team capacity.
- Lead a multidisciplinary creative team, including hiring, mentoring, and daily creative guidance for functions such as graphic and motion design.
- Create scalable creative operations, including intake, prioritization, and resource planning, so the team can support company growth.
- Stay directly involved in important, high-visibility projects when needed.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings deep creative leadership experience, a strong visual and brand sensibility, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable business results. You should be comfortable guiding teams, managing external partners, and influencing stakeholders across a fast-moving organization.
- At least 8 years of experience in creative leadership, brand design, or art direction, with increasing responsibility for teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- A portfolio that demonstrates brand systems, integrated campaigns, and digital experiences.
- Experience managing creative teams as well as agencies or vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to connect creative strategy with business goals and measurable outcomes.
- Strong judgment in creative direction, visual design, and brand storytelling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and influence senior partners across marketing, product, and revenue functions.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs in a scaling environment.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Background in shaping or growing a brand within B2B SaaS, technology, or another high-growth business.
- Exposure to modern marketing channels, digital design, and creative production workflows.
- Experience contributing to employer branding or executive/investor communications.
What You’ll Help Build
- A defining brand moment for Nexthink, with work that influences how the category sees the company.
- The creative team structure, operating model, and standards for a scaling enterprise SaaS organization.
- Direct collaboration with senior leadership and the chance to contribute to highly visible work.
Compensation
The base pay for this role is between $155,000 and $206,000 per year. In addition, the position includes an annual performance-based variable component under the company bonus plan, bringing target on-target earnings to $194,000 to $258,000. Final compensation depends on job-related skills, experience, and location, and is only one part of the total rewards package.
Benefits and Total Rewards
Nexthink provides a broad benefits package designed to support employees and their families. U.S. employees receive fully covered company health, dental, and vision benefits, along with access to life insurance, long-term disability, and accidental death/personal loss coverage.
- Fully paid health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- A benefits package intended to support both employees and their families.
- A hybrid workplace model, with this role based in Boston, MA and an expectation of three days onsite each week.
- Flexible hours and unlimited vacation, including unlimited PTO in addition to 15 days of holidays, 11 company-paid holidays, and 3 volunteer days.
- Structured onboarding to help employees connect and integrate with the team.
- Free access to professional learning platforms.
- Up to 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents or primary caregivers, and 6 weeks for secondary caregivers.
- A 401(k) plan with up to 4% company matching, vesting immediately.
- Referral bonuses for successful hires after three months of continuous employment.
