Role overview
This position is responsible for the secure, accurate, and punctual movement of parcels, with a strong focus on checking shipment details, scanning items correctly, and delivering a high standard of customer care.
Key responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages safely along assigned routes while meeting strict delivery timelines.
- Confirm parcel accuracy by checking contents and completing scanning procedures at collection and drop-off points.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and make sure parcels are packed and protected appropriately.
- Escalate delivery problems, visible damage, or address discrepancies without delay.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed.
Education and experience
A secondary school qualification, or an equivalent level of education, is required. Candidates should also bring at least 1 year of professional driving experience.
Licensing and capability requirements
Applicants must hold an Australian driving licence at one of the following levels: minimum Class C car licence (AUK012) or minimum Medium Rigid truck licence (AUK013).
