About the Role
FedEx Australia is seeking a dedicated Courier to join their team in Singleton, New South Wales. This full-time, onsite position involves the crucial task of ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely collection and delivery of packages. You will be responsible for verifying order accuracy through scanning and content checks, maintaining the security of all shipments, and providing an exceptional level of customer service throughout the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Execute the safe and timely collection and delivery of packages according to established routes and schedules.
- Verify package contents against orders and utilize scanning systems to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the security of packages from collection to delivery.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients during all interactions.
- Promptly report any issues encountered during deliveries, such as damaged goods or incorrect addresses.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Australian driver's license, specifically a minimum C Class (Car) License or a Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License.
- A minimum of one year of professional driving experience is required.
- Completion of secondary education or an equivalent qualification is necessary.
