Role overview
Denny’s Canada is hiring a cook to work from its Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. This is an on-site position, so the work must be performed at the physical workplace with no remote option.

Core duties
- Work out portion sizes and the associated food costs.
- Create menus and estimate the quantities of ingredients and supplies needed.
- Request food items and kitchen materials as needed.
- Cook full meals as well as individual dishes and menu items.
- Prepare meals suitable for guests with allergies or food intolerances.
- Review kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and readiness.
- Place orders for supplies and equipment.
- Track stock levels and maintain records for food, supplies, and equipment.
- Keep kitchen and work areas clean and orderly.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
