Content Creative

Overview

We are looking for a social-first content creator who can spot strong stories, turn them into engaging assets quickly, and represent the brand both on camera and behind it. This role suits someone who is naturally curious, confident speaking with people, and energized by fast-paced creative work.

You will shape, film, edit, and publish content for social and digital platforms, helping showcase the people, projects, innovations, and wider purpose of the business. The position calls for someone who balances creative thinking with strong execution and can work well across teams while building trusted relationships internally.

Content creation and production

• Create and edit social-first content for channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Capture content using both mobile devices and professional cameras.
• Use editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Deliver polished content on tight timelines without losing quality.

Storytelling

• Identify compelling stories within everyday business activity.
• Turn technical or complex ideas into content that is easy to understand, engaging, and informative.
• Apply a strong understanding of platform trends, audience behaviour, and social media best practices.

On-camera presence

• Appear confidently on camera as a presenter, interviewer, or host.
• Communicate clearly with employees, customers, partners, and stakeholders during filming.
• Present content in a natural and authentic way while representing the brand.

Collaboration

• Work closely with social media and marketing teams to develop and deliver content plans.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Accept creative direction while also bringing forward fresh ideas proactively.

Bonus experience

• Prior in-house experience with a brand, publisher, or agency is an advantage.
• Photography ability is a plus.
• Experience creating content in technology, infrastructure, sustainability, utilities, science, or purpose-led sectors is helpful.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Auckland, New Zealand. The opportunity is being handled by The Creative Store and references job number 39863.
