Role overview
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), part of McKesson, is looking for detail-focused and motivated data entry interns to support its oncology research work. Key duties
- Enter and maintain clinical as well as operational information accurately in internal databases and systems.
- Check records for completeness, correctness, and consistency, and help resolve any mismatches or gaps.
- Support the sorting, upkeep, and conversion of research files and documents into digital format.
- Assist with validation activities and quality checks while following study and research requirements.
- Create simple reports or summaries to help the team review information and make decisions.
- Handle patient, clinical, and company information with strict confidentiality.
- Work with clinical, administrative, and other cross-functional teams to keep data reliable.
- Take on additional tasks as needed.
Candidate profile
Ideal applicants are currently studying or have recently completed a degree in Life Sciences, Health Administration, Business, or a related discipline. The role suits someone who is organized, careful with details, and comfortable working with sensitive information in a structured environment.
