Job purpose
The Clinical Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing project management activities and overseeing clinical operations so that research-related work runs efficiently and without disruption.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors associated with assigned studies.
- Guide and coordinate cross-functional team leads as well as external partners and vendors.
- Track and manage contractual deliverables, including milestone payments and insurance qualification requirements.
- Control project scope and costs in a timely manner to reduce financial exposure.
- Make sure project work follows company SOPs, policies, and internal guidelines.
- Confirm that projects are aligned with Tigermed systems and workflows such as CTMS, OA, eTMF, and related tools, while escalating issues to the appropriate functional or operational leaders when needed.
- Take part actively in bid defense preparation and discussions.
- Provide training support to project team members and help strengthen overall team effectiveness.
- Share performance feedback on project team members with the relevant line managers.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacology, Biology, or a closely related field is preferred. A college diploma may also be accepted if the candidate demonstrates strong personal qualities and relevant project management experience.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes and current regulatory requirements, including local regulations, GCP, and clinical trial operations. A current GCP certificate is required. Business knowledge and budgeting ability are an added advantage.
- At least 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 6 years in project management. Experience in a CRO environment is preferred. Candidates with exceptional project management achievements may also be considered.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is required; knowledge of local languages is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is expected.
- Strong project management and time management capabilities are essential.
