About the Role
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking a motivated Clinical Practice Facilitator for Dietetics to enhance the practice education of student dietitians. This established role supports placement coordination and organization, aiming to develop staff skills and competencies. The position involves driving improvements and innovations in clinical placement capacity and capability within specialist dietetic areas across the Trust. You will collaborate with specialist dietitians and the MSc Dietetics program at UCL to create educational resources, including online tutorials, webinars, and simulation exercises.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the existing program for student dietitians on clinical placements within Nutrition & Dietetics at UCLH, exploring innovative placement models.
- Foster and support innovation in practice-based education for student dietitians.
- Cultivate a supportive learning environment for student dietitians during their placements in the Nutrition and Dietetics department.
- Ensure clinical education is research-based and adheres to evidence-based guidelines.
- Support staff development to deliver high standards of care and equip them to teach and supervise others.
- Utilize quality improvement methodologies to assess educational program effectiveness and provide recommendations based on feedback.
- Align work with the UCLH Nursing, Midwifery AHP, and Pharmacy Strategy, contributing to Trust objectives related to education and workforce development.
